One of the most important things a leader must do is to be positive and optimistic. Be contagious with your beliefs.

Consistent

Be consistent in your desire to be great.

Communicate

Communication is the foundation of every great relationship. Communication builds trust. Trust generates commitment. Commitment fosters teamwork, and teamwork delivers results.

Connect

Connect outside the locker room to be strong inside the locker room.

Commitment

Commitment is spelled "T-I-M-E." Commitment requires sacrifice.

It's not about you. It's about committing yourself to your team.

Care

Relationships are the foundation upon which successful teams are built, and all great relationships are based on value, respect, love, trust, and care.

Character

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are.
